As you may have guessed today is Answer Your Cat’s Questions Day!
Chubbs and Roma probably have lots of questions they’d like answered during the day. After careful consideration these were the chosen questions.
“Where’s my breakfast?”
Well ladies, we wake up at different times every morning so somewhere between 5 am – 8 am is the best you’re going to get from me.
“Can I run outside?”
No you may not run outside Chubbs. You can sun yourself on the balcony or find a spot inside but that’s it.
“Why can’t I stretch over your entire side of the bed?”
Because Roma, some nights I don’t wish to sleep sideways or curled up in a ball.
How about if I sleep on your head/neck instead?”
Allow me to cut your talon-like claws and we’ll discuss it.
“Why do we have to share the house with a dog?”
Because I said so.
Here was my mom’s answer.
My cat Topaz wants to know why I won’t let her go outside in the morning. Well Topie you insist on killing birds and bringing them into the house and that is truly unacceptable. All my other cats are old so they have no questions. They are too content.

You are very lucky kitties ’cause you actually got answers from your human; though, we know they weren’t the answers you wanted. We get fed at 8:30 a.m. and 6:30 p.m. no matter what. OMG. Cat questions is a pandora’s box I do not want to open. They’d be incredibly similar to the ones here: “Why don’t you feed us more? Why can’t I go outside?” No thanks.
